Furkan Ozkundakci received his master’s in law from The University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as a board member of the American Immigration Law Association Law Student Affiliate. While in law school, he participated in the American Bar Association’s pro bono representation project, which is designed to meet the legal needs of adults and unaccompanied children in federal custody. Mr. Ozkundakci also joined The Advocates for Human Rights’ practice of trial monitoring to identify due process violations in the context of civil immigration enforcement. Prior to his studies and activities at Minnesota Law School, Mr. Ozkundakci earned his bachelor’s in law from Istanbul University in Turkey.
As a valuable member of Onal Gallant & Partners, Mr. Ozkundakci assists individuals in a variety of immigration matters, including petitions and requests for immigration reliefs before the United States Immigration and Naturalization Services, proceedings and hearings before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
