USCIS published a new form, Form I-956K, Registration for Direct and Third-Party Promoters, within the past month. The released form results from the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 which mandates direct and third-party promoters to register with USCIS.
USCIS also denotes that each individual within the direct or 3rd party promoter positions of the entities and initiatives below must fill out Form I-956 K:
- Regional centers
- New commercial enterprises
- Affiliated job-creating entities
- Issuers of securities designated for immigrant investors concerning certain capital investment projects
No filing fee is associated with Form I-956K.
